The TedDriven Overland Ultra Relay (TOUR)
Rediscover the Joy of Running
What is the TOUR?
Remember when running was pure joy—when it was about the adventure, the camaraderie, and the simple thrill of moving through the world? The TedDriven Overland Ultra Relay (TOUR) brings back that old-school spirit with an epic three-day stage relay race through the stunning landscapes of North Central Washington.
Designed for teams of up to eight runners, the TOUR blends competitive racing with an adventurous, low-tech experience. No chip timing. No digital maps. Just you, your teammates, and a rugged course marked by singletrack trails, logging roads, and scenic pavement.
Each day, your team will tackle approximately 75 miles divided into 16 legs, navigating with printed maps and elevation guides. Whether you’re chasing a podium finish or just out for the experience, you’ll be part of something unforgettable—an event that is as much about community and adventure as it is about speed.
Why a Stage Race?
Unlike point-to-point relays with overnight runs and risky nighttime driving, the stage race format ensures safety, camaraderie, and the best routes possible. Each morning starts with all teams together, leading to shared moments at transitions and team gatherings each night — like the early days of ultra racing.
The Experience - Three Days, Three Distinct Routes

About TedDriven: Your participation enables us to invest in Cancer Research and local causes that make a difference
About TedDriven
Founded in 2005, TedDriven is a mission-driven endurance event organization dedicated to producing premier athletic experiences for the human race. Born from the creation of the Wenatchee and Leavenworth Marathons by Ted and Lynda Finegold and Ian and Wendy Crossland, TedDriven was shaped by a deeply personal commitment to advancing cancer research following the loss of loved ones to the disease. Since its founding, TedDriven has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars of event proceeds into cancer research and the support of local organizations, and in 2025 aligned with Fred Hutch Cancer Center to help advance long-term scientific innovation while creating meaningful opportunities for athletes to engage directly in the fight against cancer. Today, the organization continues under the leadership of its directors—Wendy Crossland, Ian Crossland, Lynda Finegold, and Colin Brine—each personally impacted by cancer and deeply committed to advancing TedDriven’s mission.
Because at TedDriven, every mile matters.
